Brittany Frentrop competed in USAG Gymnastics for fifteen years where she competed through Level 10. During those fifteen years, Brittany represented the state of Kansas, competed at USA Gymnastics Region 3 Regionals, Western Championships, and Women's Junior Olympic National Championships. Brittany also competed competitive All Star Cheerleading for seven years where she competed at The USASF Cheerleading Worlds five times. She has her Finance degree from The University of Kansas and has spent the last ten years coaching competitive gymnastics, tumbling and cheerleading all over the world. Brittany's passion and knowledge for tumbling and cheer can be seen through athletes of all ages. She coaches with excitement and focuses her teachings on encouraging each individual to be the best of their ability.
TUMBLING & CHEER INSTRUCTOR
Morgan S. competed in USAG Gymnastics for seven years through to Level 8. She then made the transition to competitive all-star cheerleading where she competed five years and attended USASF Cheerleading Worlds five times. She went on to become an instructor/head instructor for nine years at the Universal Cheerleaders Association and had the opportunity to coach athletes and mentor staff throughout the midwest. During her time with UCA, she was awarded Head Instructor of the Year and Veteran of the Year. She attended Avila University where she obtained her Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design while participating as a member of the nationally-ranked cheerleading squad. Morgan is currently entering her third year as an assistant coach at Avila and is seeking her Master's in Education. Her favorite aspect of being a coach is helping athletes realize their full potential through building positive relationships, hard work, and dedication.
DANCE & TUMBLING INSTRUCTOR
Anna S. has been involved in tumbling and dance for fourteen years. She competed in competitive USAG Gymnastics and all-star cheerleading for five years before starting her competitive dance career. In addition to dancing competitively for six years, Anna earned All-American honors her junior and senior year as a member of the Tonganoxie High School dance team. She is a current member of the dance and soccer team at the University of Saint Mary, majoring in Elementary Education with a minor in Business. Anna has a passion for dance and tumbling and brings three years of coaching experience to Ascend Athletics. As a coach, Anna seeks to bring energy and positivity to the gym while sharing her passion for dance and tumbling with every athlete that walks through our doors.
Logan D. has been an administrator and instructor at Ascend Athletics for two years. He has also been a coach for our competition team for two years. Logan has his Bachelor's of Business Management from the University of Kansas. Logan brings a fun and exciting energy to the gym and loves to keep our athletes smiling and laughing.
MINI STARS INSTRUCTOR
Kailyn C. has ten years of USAG Gymnastics and competitive all-star cheerleading experience. Kailyn will be a junior at Lansing High School and has been an instructor at Ascend Athletics for one year. She loves to help the students learn, progress and improve on their tumbling skills.
